It has come to our attention that we have not been as fair and balanced as Fox News in our coverage of important events, threatening the state of the nation, such as it is. Specifically, as you may have noticed, we seem to be over-reacting badly towards the Tea Party conspiracy that seems out to destroy the American way of life, as we know it.
We at the Justaminutemen believe in free speech, fair play and common decency.
In the spirit of the first amendment, which some of those people might want to do away with if they have the chance, today we open our site in defense of the maligned.
We at the Justaminutemen are equal opportunity defenders.
Col. CC Chestnut, whose essay follows, is a distinguished military and political scientist, an expert analyst and panelist on cable network news and talk radio and a man who, as Ivy Baker Priest, whose name appeared on US currency as Secretary of the Treasury during the Eisenhower administration (1953-61), said, “ I am often wrong, but never in doubt.” He will be commenting from time to time as the news warrants, the view from the trenches, so to speak, rather than the Ivory Tower where we observe events.

Patriots! It’s time to end the crippling federal government programs that foster dependency and erode character. Opt for freedom! Send back your Social Security checks! Tell Uncle Sam “Thanks but no thanks.’ And tell your doctor to send you the bill instead of Medicare. Are you an American or a spineless louse?
I know the lefty liberals will tell you that if all the Tea Party members on Social Security and Medicare and VA refunded their Federal government checks, the movement would collapse of mass disease and starvation. Ignore these traitors!
The commies at NPR had a report last week that at any given time 34% of Americans have diarrhea from what they’ve eaten. That means 66% are regular. Stop wasting our money on food inspectors!
Patriots! If all of us join together and refuse all Federal government checks, and eliminate wanton spending on socialist programs like food stamps for the starving, we will substantially cut entitlements, and halt the runaway deficit spending that is sucking our beloved country down the road to fiscal hell.
Next week: Col. Chestnut calls on all patriot gun owners and militiamen to join together on a Sunday morning Fire Out. At 10 AM, on a given Sunday (before church), every gun owner in the US will discharge his piece at the sky, celebrating our sacred Second Amendment rights.
